Vaster Green Profenophos is a non-systemic insecticide, from the organophosphorus group, which controls a wide range of biting (chewing pests) and sucking pests in many crops, especially bollworms on cotton and fruit tree pests, with touching and digestive properties. Profenofos effects immediately, its effect lasts for a long time, it is strong and broad spectrum and by penetrating into the plant tissues, it controls insects such as Minoz that lives inside the plant tissues. By inhibiting the acetylcholinesterase enzyme, Profenofos causes the accumulation of acetylcholine at the synapse site, and as a result, nerve stimulation goes on constantly. Profenphos is one of the important pests of cotton, tobacco, tomato, alfalfa, hemp, clover, corn, peas, sesame, eggplant, soybean, bean, corn on the cob, pumpkin and hemp. It is very polyphagous and more than 70 host species have been reported for it in the world. The larvae of this pest feed on young leaves, boll (cotton bollworm-safflower bollworm), cob, fruit (tomato fruitworm), seed pods (pea bollworm) of their host plants. Other species such as H. Peltigera and H. viriplace can also be seen in the fields of host plants. This compoound has penetrating properties and is able to move from the surface of the leaf to the back of the leaf. Therefore, active pests under the leaves, which are usually immune to the effects of the poison, can be easily controlled with this insecticide.
